The Wilson 801245 AG SOHO 60 Quick Kit is designed for situations where outside antennas are difficult or impossible to install. Sometimes in apartments and condos, tenants are not allowed to install rooftop antennas. The SOHO Quick Kit is perfect for this situation if there is usable cell signal at a window. No permanent installation is required.

The Quick Kit with the Wilson 801245 AG SOHO 60 dual-band repeater, amplifies and boosts cell signals for a small room in a building. The adjustable gain dual-band 60dB wireless amplifier works with all GSM, CDMA, and TDMA carriers that use 800/1900MHz frequencies. The system requires no physical connection to cell phone or data card and multiple cell phones or cellular data cards can be used.

NOTE: The window mount panel antenna and the desktop antenna should be separated 15-20 feet. The farther apart they are, the stronger the amplifier can be set. The adjustable gain amplifier will accommodate smaller sparation distances, but the amplifier gain will need to be lowered which will reduce the broadcast distance of the interior desktop antenna. Product Description This complete kit has been specifically designed for use in situations where there is cell signal at a window, but little or no cell signal within the interior of the room. It is important to note that if there is no usable cell signal at the window then the Wilson 801245 AG SOHO Quick Kit should ot be used. There needs to be some signal for the window panel antenna to pickup. Other systems with rooftop exterior antennas may be preferable when no signal is present at the window. The new adjustable gain on the Wilson 801245 AG SOHO 60 allows the amplifier to be adjusted for your environment. Broadcast and coverage distance from the interior antenna depends upon outside cell signal strength and caarrier frequency. Window Mount Antenna The Wilson 301134 window mount panel antenna is designed to be placed on the inside of a window. There are 4 suction cups that attach the antenna to the glass. There needs to be some usable cell signal at the window for the antenna to collect. A good test is to see if a cell phone call can be made at the window, if so, the Quick Kit should perform well for you.	Wilson 301134 Window Mount Panel
Inside Desktop Antenna The Wilson 301208 is used as the interior broadcast antenna. This antenna has about 5' of coax attached to it. It connects directly to the Wilson 801245 inside antenna port. The Wilson 301208 is directional. It should be pointed away from the window mount panel antenna to help rduce the chance of oscillation. Broadcast distance from this antenna should average around 15'-20'. The stronger the signal is at the window, the more the system will be able to broadcast inside the room. 240 White Coax This Quick Kit system uses 240 white coax cable. One 20' length and two 10' lengths are supplied. One coax is uded to run from the Wilson 801245 amplfier to the window mount panel antenna. The other two 10' lengths can be used as extensions.	20' White 240 Coax

Examples

A simple example of how the Wilson 801245 AG SOHO 60 Quick Kit works is to place the window mount panel on the inside of a window with usable cell signal (can make a call). The white 240 coax either 20', 30' (20'+10") or 40' (20'+10'+10') is run from the window antenna to the Wilson 801245 cellular amplifier. The Wilson 301208 with 5' of attached coax is connected to the cellular amplifier. This allows the desktop antenna to be placed on a table or shelf and the amplifier to be placed out of the way.
